Tony Alves – Analyst
Tony joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2004 and has 22 years of experience in the oil industry including 16 years with Henderson Crosthwaite and Investec Securities. Over the years, he’s developed strong relationships with institutional investors, and has been involved in many flotations and fundraisings.
He is a graduate of Cambridge University where he read mathematics both as an undergraduate and as a post-graduate research student in the Department of Pure Mathematics. He is also a non-executive director of Ikon Science, a private seismic interpretation software and services company.

Nick Pettman – Equity Sales
Nick joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2004 from JP Morgan Chase. He has two years’ experience as a telecoms analyst, along with 5 years’ experience on institutional sales desk, selling European large cap stocks to Scandinavian institutions.

Mark Donati – Equity Sales
An ex-KPMG chartered accountant, Mark has more than twenty years’ experience in the broking industry. He has specialised in small and mid cap sales since he worked for S.G. Securities and Lehman Brothers, and now manages a wide variety of our institutional and corporate clients.

Marianne Woods – Director, Corporate Broking
Marianne has worked in the City for over 20 years. She started in general Equity Sales, and was then head of sales and research for smaller companies at both James Capel (now part of HSBC) and S.G. Securities. After leaving sales, she worked in Corporate Broking at Panmure Gordon before joining KBC Peel Hunt’s Corporate Broking department in 2007. Marianne has a BSc in chemistry and an MA, both from Durham University.

Jonathan Marren – Director, Corporate Finance
Jonathan joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2000 and is a director in the corporate finance department. His focus is mainly on the energy sector with clients in numerous jurisdictions across the Alternative Energy and Oil & Gas sectors. He has advised on over 50 transactions in a variety of fields in the last seven years.
Jonathan studied Mathematics at University College, Durham. He then qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen before moving into corporate finance.

Matt Goode – Corporate Finance
Matt joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2004, having previously worked in corporate finance for 3 years at Ernst & Young and has 6 years’ Corporate Finance experience. He has a degree from Bristol University, as well as a Securities Institute Diploma.
Matt has worked on a full range of transactions, including flotations, takeovers, restructurings, acquisitions, secondary fundraisings and disposals. Matt now focuses on the leisure and consumer sectors.

Gary Lee – Market Maker
Gary joined KBC Peel Hunt in 1998. He has 25 years’ experience in market making at Wedd Durlacher and BZW as a director of trading, and is a specialist in mining, oil & gas and arbitraging.

Adam Peacock – Market Making
After finishing his A-Levels, Adam joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2000 in the settlements department. He then became a market maker in 2005, and has spent the last 18 months specialising in oil and mining.

Dinnur Galikhanov – Analyst
Dinnur joined KBC Peel Hunt in 2007 as an Oil & Gas analyst, having spent a year covering oil & gas stocks at Panmure Gordon.
Before coming to the financial industry, he worked at BP for over seven years, both in London and Aberdeen (Scotland), working on a variety of commercial projects in the North Sea and internationally (with special focus on Russia and Former Soviet Union).
Dinnur has a Finance MBA from the University of Nottingham.
