The late 1990s and early 2000s saw a huge amount of speculative money pumped into the technology sector. However, since the bubble burst in 2001, up-and-coming technology companies have found growth capital much harder to come by.
Unlike some of our competitors, however, we didn’t take our eye off the market. We’ve continued to invest and grow our capabilities in the technology sector, and we’re always ready to support new innovation and growth opportunities.
Since 2001 we have raised more than £600m of equity for our technology clients and acted as lead advisor on 13 technology IPOs and 15 takeovers, acquisitions and disposals in the sector.
We have one of the largest and most established technology teams in the City, who offer our corporate clients and investors a full range of:
30 of our 35 technology corporate clients are quoted on either the Official List or AIM with an average market capitalisation of £56 million.
